Today, I’m sharing my healthy ‘wellthy’ gift guide, a roundup of my 15 favourite wellness products that I personally use myself or is on my own wishlist! Gifting anyone on your list or yourself health and wellness for the coming year is such an amazing way to show them how much you love and appreciate them. Since wellness can take on so many forms, there’s no shortage of healthy gifts out there so to speak. This year’s TWK gift guide though isn’t just about a wellness trend, it’s about investing in your health and creating a new lifestyle set in healthy habits and the gifts to support it, making it easier for you or your loved ones to put themselves and their health and wellbeing first. ![]() Shakti Mat Who wouldn't mind having access to acupressure self care in the comfort of their own home. It releases any tension whilst putting you into a state of deep relaxation when combined with a meditation practice. Perfect gift! Foam Roller Foam rolling is a must tool for anyone you're buying for that loves a massage. It’s not just about using a foam roller for recovery of sore muscles but as a myofascial self massage tool to supercharge the vagus nervous system into a relaxed and rejuvenated mode. Awesome 2 in 1 gift for a loved one that loves exercise and massage! ![]() Infinity massage ball These peanut shaped massage balls take self massage to the next level by focusing on smaller muscle groups, sending a systemic affect of relaxing across the whole body. The Nextrino massage ball is a versatile wellness tool that is small and compact, perfect for family or friends that travel lots for work to meet the sore needs after a long travel stint. ![]() Infrared Sauna Infrared saunas are my TOP most favourite tool! I’ve had my Sunlighten Solo for over 2 years (it was a great excuse for a 40th birthday gift!) It is a big ticket gift but the best investment as it the sweating helps to release and flush out toxins, assist the body to heal and increasing blood, oxygen and heart rate by dilating blood vessels. It also has light and colour therapy, which is a holistic approach to healing and helps balance our body’s energy centres. Water Filters Water filters are a fabulous gift to yourself or a loved on, as somewhere to start with for health. There are many different types of water filters, and we use the portable Zazen water filter at home for our drinking and cooking needs. For friends that travel, the Propur straw is the ideal gift to ensure they stay healthy whilst their off on their adventures or work abroad. ![]() Solidtekniks Cookware has always been a classic gift and if you've got for family and friends that have kickstarted their health journey, get them a Solidtekniks! Solidteknicks cookware is Australian made, high quality, durabile, easy to use and wash and most importantly NON TOXIC! The Big Pan, 18cm iron skillet, 22cm sautese pan, wok are favourite sizes for our family of 4. Thermomix Have a foodie in the house? Then they would love the Thermomix as it is so multi functional and will allows them to make things from scratch like almond meal, nut butters, nut milks, remove any preservatives, chemicals and colouring in store bought versions and saves them time! Stainless Steel Lunchboxes Stainless steel lunchboxes are a perfect gift for anyone that loves helping the environment. They remove the need to buy plastic versions, are safe, durable and just last forever. There are so many brands and styles to pick from, I would encourage you to go with what you think they would like and ensure it is high quality 18/8 stainless steel, food grade brands. They'll be the new envy in the office with a beautifully packed home made lunch! Metal straws With the ever growing issue of plastic waste in our oceans, this is a NO brainer gift! Pick a set of metal straws in different sizes and styles for anyone that loves a drink or two, or as a kris kringle pressie! Blue Blockers For the night owl friends that need some support filtering out blue light in the night when using devices, blue blockers are the perfect gift! The orange and yellow ones are the better choices and you can also get ones that fit over glasses. Ideally pick a pair that have lenses that wrap around the sides of the eyes too. Oura ring The Oura ring is herald to be the most accurate sleep and activity tracker. It’s on my wish list! A lot of biohackers are using them and I’m curios to own one to see the accuracy of information it tracks and to get the data on my sleep! Heart rate variability is one piece of info the Oura ring gives that most other trackers don’t so if you've got a loved one that loves data and his or her sleep, this would tickle their fancy! ![]() Indoor plants Indoor plants are a great gift idea that not only helps green an indoor space, bringing nature inside but also helps filter the air! There are so many beautiful indoor plants these days, but the favourites are the peace lily, snake plant (mother in law’s tongue), philodendrons and monsteras. Gift it in a beautiful pot and I am pretty sure its’ new owner will be beaming with joy! They are based on the four nature elements – earth, water, fire and air and are a beautiful music addition to anyone that loves relaxing sounds. Crystals
Crystals are known to promote physical, emotional and spiritual healing by interacting with our body’s energy field or chakras. You can get crystals in many forms, but I reckon for a gift, a pendant or a ring with a beautiful crystal in it goes a long way!
